Recommended Print Settings:

• Material: PETG is highly recommended. The snap-fit joint relies on the natural elasticity of PETG to bend and lock. Standard PLA is too brittle and will likely snap during installation.
• Orientation: 3MF file is set perfectly
• Supports: 3MF file is set perfectly

Please DO NOT change the settings in the 3MF file. I have printed this mode countless times to get everything perfect so you don't have to!

Installation:

• Remove screw on the right side of the factory snap fit cover and unsnap.
• Remove the 3 screws from the main housing.
• Remove camera cover and unplug camera.

Factory wire for camera can be made longer!

• Remove or loosen the tape from the black mesh wire loom and pull the wire for extra length. There is no cutting, splicing or extensions needed!

String all of the parts onto the wire in order; Main housing, joiner, rear section and camera housing. In order to get the wire to feed through the camera mount easy, take an old thin wire or string and tie it on right behind the connector. Pull the string/wire out the camera opening (end) and use tweezers to guide and pull the connector through. Take your time and have patience. It's the trickiest part of the install but if I can do it, anybody can!!

Make sure the wires are in the factory cutout (you'll see it once you remove the factory housing) and screw in my replacement housing. Snap in the joiner plate next. If you have screwed on the nut yet for the ball joint, now is a good time to do it. Once that is secure and snug tight (do not over tighten it or it won't swivel), go ahead a snap in the rear section. The snaps on the model are secure but will come off if pulled on. Best practice is to hold the rear section as you swivel the camera around to find the viewing angle you are happy with. Pointed straight down gives you that "OEM" view. I have not test the AI spaghetti or object on build plate detection at the time of this writing.
