luffy bust
"I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" Set sail for the Grand Line and upgrade your anime shelf with this detailed Monkey D. Luffy Bust 3D model! Inspired by the beloved captain of the Straw Hat Pirates from One Piece, this collectible sculpture captures Luffy's iconic wide grin, fierce determination, textured straw hat, open red vest, and his signature X-shaped chest scar resting on a classic display pedestal.
🎨 Perfect for Painting (Single-Color Print) Please note that this model is NOT designed as a multi-color/AMS print. It is optimized to be printed in a single color, making it the ultimate canvas for makers and miniature painters who love post-processing and hand-painting!
- Rich Sculpted Textures: The woven texture of the straw hat, the stitched edges of his chest scar, the raised buttons on his vest, and his expressive facial features provide crisp physical boundaries. This makes brush painting, dry-brushing (especially on the hat!), and shading super enjoyable and rewarding.
- Pro Tip: Print it in grey, white, or beige PLA/resin, apply a smooth coat of primer, and bring the future Pirate King to life with acrylic paints and a light dark wash to make the straw hat weave and muscle definition pop!
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings:
- Material: PLA, Matte PLA, or Resin (for ultra-crisp anime details)
- Layer Height: 0.12mm - 0.16mm (recommended for smooth skin surfaces and sharp facial details)
- Infill: 10% - 15% (Gyroid or Grid)
- Supports: Yes (Tree supports recommended for easy removal under the brim of the straw hat, hair spikes, and chin)
Whether you are a lifelong One Piece fan or looking for a fun painting project, this bust is a true treasure for any collection. If you print and paint him, please share a photo of your make in the comments—I would love to see your custom paint jobs!
