Description

The ACE Pro intake guide funnel will eventually wear down from filament rubbing on the sides, similar to what you see below.

This part is designed to hold a small length of PTFE tubing with a PC4-M10 pneumatic straight through connector.

Updates

  • 13 Jan 2025 - Version 3 - Improved the strength and durability of the retaining clips. Should be less prone to breakage and resist warping over time with the filament dryer running.
  • 22 May 2025 - New PC4-M6 version available

Benefits:

  • This protects the guide insert so it is less likely to need replacement in the future
  • The PTFE tubing is easily replaced
  • PTFE helps to guide the filament down in a more gradual path reducing errors

I also have an OEM style funnel guide here.

Parts

  • PC4-M10 straight-through style pneumatic connector. I bought this:
  • 4mm Outer Diameter PTFE tubing - such as capricorn tubing.

You can print it in PLA but I recommend PETG as most PLAs are stiffer and more prone to breaking during install.
