ACE GEN 2 Kobra X print head service jig fixture and parts tray
WHAT IS THIS?
This is the original service jig for the ACE GEN2 Kobra X printhead. Designed for easy manipulation and articulation during toolhead maintenance.
This is my creation offered to the Kobra X community. 100% measured by hand, designed from scratch in TinkerCAD.

FACT:
Download and print this now, because if you get a clog later, then you can't print it.
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
WHY IS THIS RAD?
- Have both hands available, full open view.
- Rotate 360 without fumbling with the assembly.
- Articulate printhead with ease.
- Minimize touching cables, harnesses, solder joints and sensors.
- 60mm leg height, elevates printhead prevents mainboard from hitting desk when installed.
- Bolt Tray screw organizer included, customizable in Slicer (separate .3mf).
- Convenient storage kit (download the Storage Tray Back).
- Sufficient for most basic service scenarios - clog clearing, lubrication, inspection.
FITMENT
- ALLOW ALL PARTS TO COOL BEFORE FITTING
- DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING.
- If the fit is too tight make some manual adjustments.
- Clean up the edges with a razor blade or sandpaper.
- I am not responsible if you damage your printhead.

08/13/2026 - BUG found when downloading Kobra 4 profile and ACE2PRO. Reverted default 3mf to Kobra X and 1-color.

-Side hanger hook too thin, could break if nudged. 2.5x thicker hook and widened gap for more play.
-Widened mounting notch for LCD display, minor fix
-Rolled edge to fan mount, minor fix
-Took sharp edge off half moon under nozzle, minor fix

5/18/2026 - Customizable Bolt tray (separate .3mf added). Customize font, size, color, etc (in Slicer)
