Description
This is a locomotive and tender train inspired by the early railroad of the American west.
Updates
- 27 Jul 2025 - Many design tweaks to improve the strength and safety for children.
- Many tests with the help of other TFT volunteers including dropping the toy multiple times from a height of 5+ feet on to tile and concrete onto different parts of the toy.
- Slightly shortened and thickened the chimney.
- Added a slightly widened ring on the chimney where it meets the body of the locomotive to improve the strength/durability.
- Changed the internal geometry of both the chimney and wheels to significantly improve strength.
- Thickened the wheel axle by about 30% to improve strength.
Description
The wheels are print-in-place but the chimney for the locomotive is printed separately and needs to be screwed on. The cars have built-in attachments to allow multiple cars to be connected.
The train is available in two sizes.
