Anamorphic cat with Hueforge technique, decoration with optical effect. The model is made on 9 printing plates and can be assembled on the floor to make the effect more pleasant.
The ideal vision is at a distance of 2 meters at a height of about one and a half meters. (for this specific model).
An anamorphic image is a distorted representation that appears normal only when viewed from a specific point of view or through a special device (such as a cylindrical or conical mirror).
Main types:
Linear anamorphosis (perspective)
It is visible correctly only from a certain angle and distance. Often drawn on the floor or on inclined surfaces. Example: a 3D drawing on the asphalt that only appears "real" from a specific point.
Specular anamorphosis (cylindrical/mirrored)
The distorted image is corrected by reflecting in a curved mirror (cylindrical or conical). The drawing around the mirror seems absurd, but in the reflection it takes shape.
Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #8 (0.72mm) swap to Gray
At layer #13 (1.12mm) swap to Silver
At layer #20 (1.68mm) swap to White for the rest.
