Description

Meet the Black Shark Water Gun Turret, a playful robotic-style water blaster inspired by a fierce black shark. This project combines 3D printing, simple mechanics, electronics, and WiFi control into a compact and fun desktop/DIY build.

The special feature of this design is that it is designed to be easy to 3D print and assemble without requiring an AMS or multi-color printing system. Different parts can simply be printed separately and assembled afterward, making the project accessible to almost any FDM 3D printer.

🦈 Key Features

  • Shark-inspired design with a distinctive aggressive appearance
  • AMS-free printing – no multi-color printing system required
  • Designed for standard FDM 3D printers
  • Easy-to-print individual components
  • 360° motorized turret rotation
  • Adjustable gun elevation for aiming up and down
  • Remote water spraying
  • Controlled wirelessly using a smartphone
  • Powered by an ESP32-C3 Super Mini
  • WiFi communication allows the phone to control the turret remotely
  • Modular mechanical structure for easier assembly and maintenance

📱 WiFi Remote Control

The electronic control system is based on the ESP32-C3 Super Mini.

After connecting to the ESP32 via WiFi, a mobile phone can be used as the remote controller to:

  • Rotate the turret left and right
  • Adjust the barrel elevation
  • Turn the water pump on/off
  • Aim the shark and spray water remotely

The project is designed around a small 5V water pump, making it suitable for experimentation and low-voltage DIY applications.

🖨️ 3D Printing

One of my main goals with this project was to make the model practical rather than complicated to manufacture.

The parts are separated into printable components, allowing the model to be produced using a standard single-color FDM printer. The shark body and mechanical components can be printed individually and assembled afterward.

No AMS required.

You can also choose your own color combination to create different versions of the shark.

⚙️ Project Concept

This project is not just a decorative model. It is a combination of:

3D Printing + Mechanical Design + Electronics + WiFi + Robotics

The result is a small robotic water turret that can be controlled directly from a smartphone.

This project was designed, developed and tested by Monik Studio with a focus on keeping the mechanical structure simple, printable and accessible to the DIY 3D-printing community.
