Description

Description:

This is still work it progress and experience will show if it will work flawlessly, i still see issues with the reset function which works in theory but practically it seems the gears between themselves have to much resistance and turn before their own hook can push them into 0 position → resulting in not aligned number wheels

Printing:

     Filament:
  • I tested PLA+
     Settings:
  • Outer lines first to have a better chance fitting the tolerances
  • Well tuned Supports to avoid them sticking to the parts
  • Tree supports recommended
  • Brim recommended with warping issues
  • Infill, at least 15%       Increase infill and/or Wall lines when you experience issues with
  • Wall lines, at least 2    the strength of the parts and parts break / deform
  • Part tolerances have been opimised for my 3D-Printer/slicer presets (Voron 2.4, orca slicer) as said above that is around 0.1-0.2 or i very few cases also 0.3
     Support recommended for:
  • Lever
  • Frame
  • Wheel 1
     Size:
  • The model is quite small and has some delicate parts, if you have issues with the printing of small parts you can try scaling everything up or changing to a smaller nozzle.

Assembly:

  1. Be very careful with support removal to not break or deform any delicate parts / springs
  2. I hope the pictures help with further assembly
  3. Just like the original Tally Counter from Zekko, only that on the leaver side spring and a extra cover get added … (I cant grantee yet that i will make a assembly guide video)
  4. No assembly step should need a huge amount of force, if you need force to assembly something is wrong → please check before breaking something

If you have recommendations according printability or general questions/requests about this model, please write me a message / comment

Credits:

  • A HUGE thanks to @Zekko for making the first version of this tally counter and saving me the time of making the counting mechanism and reset mechanism.

Changes so far:

  •     08.01.2024: Increased shaft length by 1mm so it doesn't clamp together the housing and creates more friction - thank you to “Levi” (Discord) for pointing that issue out
