Description

A customizable mini graveyard in classic pixel art style, to decorate the house at Halloween. It also makes a good family build: the little ones can place the ghosts, tombstones and pumpkins themselves.

The project is split into 3 print profiles: Diorama Base, Main Background (sky) and Main Elements (characters, fence, tree and so on).

PRINT AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS YOU WANT

The complete scene is 10 plates and around 9.6 hours, but you don't need all of it. The base with two or three tombstones is already a small graveyard, and you can add ghosts, pumpkins and the background later, at your own pace. Nothing is glued: every element sits loose, so you can move things around and rebuild the scene whenever you want.

FILAMENT COLORS USED

All in recycled smart PLA.

Diorama Base: black, gold (used as a light brown), brown, green

Main Background: black, white, purple, yellow

Main Elements: black, white, orange, grey, gold (used as a light brown), brown

PRINT SETTINGS

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm

• Main Background: 5 solid bottom layers. This piece uses specific color changes to get the blended sky effect you see in the photos.

A NOTE ON THE SMALL PARTS

Some of the elements are very small. Start with a perfectly clean build plate and keep the printer out of any air drafts, or those pieces can come loose mid print.

I hope you like it and enjoy the model!
