UPDATES:
- 23/11/2025 -> V.Especial - After receiving a report from a user, I discovered that the newer versions of the printer include a small raised plastic part that makes it impossible to place the model correctly, so I created a special version with cuts so it fits these versions of the printer.

- 25/06/2025 -> V.2 - When the bed was in the lowest possible position, it pressed against the cover. I've added a new version of the model with tight cuts to prevent any pressure. During assembly, the new holes should be visible at the top.

Have you noticed how hard it is to clean the base of the Z rods on your Kobra S1?
This area is slightly recessed, which makes it easy for filament debris and dust to accumulate, and quite difficult to remove. With this simple accessory, you can keep that area clean effortlessly.
This is my anti-dirt cover design for the rod base of the Kobra S1 3D printer.
Its purpose is to prevent dust and filament bits from collecting in the cavities where the rods are mounted, improving the overall maintenance of the printer.
✅ Print-in-place:
The model consists of three parts, one of which is quite small. They are printed together in a single print, but must be separated before assembly.
No supports are needed, and it's fully optimized for simple FDM printing.
🧱 Recommended material:
To ensure strength and durability, it's best to print this in PETG, ABS, or ASA. PLA is not recommended, as it may deform over time.
🛠️ Assembly:
It mounts using 4 screws (2 per side). I used 3x7mm screws.
Make sure to align the pieces properly before tightening the screws for a perfect fit.
Check the assembly GIF included in the second image for a step-by-step visual guide.
I hope this design helps you keep your Kobra S1 in top shape – it certainly worked well for me!
