Something from the depths has found the light.
The Light Below is a 3D-printable wall lamp inspired by Lovecraftian imagery and cosmic horror. A massive tentacle emerges from the wall and guides the cable toward the suspended bulb, turning the wiring itself into part of the design.
The lamp is designed around an E27 lamp holder. All printed components use press-fit connections, so glue is usually not required, although it may be helpful depending on your printer calibration and tolerances.
The base conceals and organizes the wiring and supports two installation options:
an exposed power cord connected to a standard wall outlet;
wires coming from surface-mounted wall conduit through the dedicated recesses.
The result is a dramatic wall lamp somewhere between an abyssal creature, a forgotten relic and a piece of industrial machinery. It is ideal for workshops, studios, gaming rooms, and horror, fantasy or steampunk interiors.
An LED bulb is recommended to minimize heat near the printed parts. Always use suitable wall fixings and have any mains electrical connections completed by a qualified person
