Description

My Arathi Basin Horde and Alliance Banners are doing well, but probably many new World of Warcraft players have a problem with recognizing them. In modern „Retail” World of Warcraft Arathi Basin banners looks different! And yes, that’s true. Models I created several months ago represents original, „Classic” WoW banners. You may still see them playing „Classic” or „Cataclysm” versions of WoW, but not in current „War Within” expansion. During „Battle for Azeroth” few Battlegrounds were updated on graphics and banners were changed with it.

So let me introduce – Modern, „Retail” World of Warcraft Battleground Horde Banner. You may find it on reworked Arathi Basin, The Battle for Gilenas and Deepwind Gorge.

I waited few loooong months to finally make this one. Without any confusing filament changes and problematic for AMS/ACE recessed logos. Flat, colorfull banners easy to print on multicolor systems like AMS or ACE Pro. As I finally got them, my model is ready for you to download! :)

So if you are just like me – World of Warcraft fan, who spent hours to keep this flag up as long as possible, I think you may be interested in having one on your desk! And as long as you don’t have Alliance Agent at your home, tomorrow it should be there even without prottecting it :)

About the model:

17.9cm tall, 9.6cm wide. Printable even on small printer like Bambu Lab A1 Mini. Model require AMS or ACE Pro to be printed.

Designed to be assembled without glueing. You need to print base part of the stand, front and back banner hangers and front and back banners. Print it with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.

Model colors.

The colors most consistent with the original will be: Dark brown for banner frame and Horde logo; light brown for the stitches, pole and hangers; light grey for bottom part of the stand and dark grey for upper part of the stand. To make the model printable with 4 colors all at once I left the stand with just one grey color.

If you want to experiment a bit or you don’t have filament in right color you may change dark brown with black and stitches can be printed in yellow (as on render); poles in any brown/wooden color. Feel free to hand paint it if you want! :)

If you like the model and you want to give it thumbs up, please also consider downloading it. It cost you just one additional click and it’s very important to me. Also check my other models, maybe you will find something interesting :) Thank you!

World of Warcraft, Horde, Alliance, Arathi Basin and all other trademarks belongs to Blizzard. I’m just a fan who recreated this models for 3D printing to share with others for free. No commercial use.

Happy printing! :)
