Octopus 3D Print Project

This octopus model is built to print as separate components, so you don’t need ACE Pro. All parts are printable independently — simply pick the body color you want and print the rest to match or contrast. The design is optimized for straightforward assembly and clean results.

Recommended print settings:

• Infill: 12% or higher for a sturdy structure.
• Layer height: 0.20 mm or lower to achieve a smoother top surface.
• Supports: Required only for the octopus body. Do not enable automatic supports for the eye sockets — instead, paint/support the top surface of the eye holes manually. If you prefer, use the included .3mf file which contains optimized support placement.

Assembly & finishing:

• Parts fit together cleanly; some light sanding or filing may be helpful at connection points.
• You can scale the entire model freely — small prints are charming, larger prints show more detail.
• Mix and match filament colors for tentacles, eyes, and accessories, but choose one main body color for the best visual impact.

Notes & tips:

• Test a single tentacle first if you want to dial in bridging and overhang behavior.
• If you plan to paint, use a primer for the best adhesion.
• This model is beginner-friendly but also suitable for makers who like multi-part printing and customization.
