Planter Chessboard

This is a planter chessboard that I made in SketchUp for schools. I do not have a 3d printer yet but I have made many models and have used my schools 3d printer a few times.

If anyone has ideas for how to split the board for smaller printers, or how to make the bishop a bit less challenging, that would be wonderful.

Plant chessboard pieces and squares should be printed twice in different colors

EDIT: as of Sep 30 2024 I fixed some weird sections of the crisscrossing as well as a problem with the base of the board itself

EDIT as of Oct 12, 2024, I have gotten a 3d printer and I am testing each model individually; the bishop is now attached

I have also added a file for each piece individually which I recommend using as the others are out of date

Beware of bishop, I am still refining the model

EDIT: as of Oct 13 2024 I have removed a weirdness in some of the models and have added pictures of a quarter of the squares

EDIT: having 3d printer problems, will add stuff soon, squares worked but things keep coming off print bed, even after iso

EDIT: as of Oct 19 2024, Added images of, 1 set of pawns 1 set of rooks,(aka castles,) & 1 set of knights.

EDIT: as of Oct 20 2024 I have fixed the bishop (I think)
