Description

🎃 Lift the lid… if you dare!

Zucca Scherzetto ("prank pumpkin" in Italian) is a horror jack-o'-lantern with a hidden snap mechanism. Lift the lid just a little: the eyes pop out and the tongue snaps down. Push the eyes back in, close

the lid, and it is loaded again.

 ⚙️ HOW IT WORKS

 • A hook under the lid holds the trigger plate

 • Lifting the lid releases it: 4 elastic bands push the two T racks forward, the racks turn the shaft and the eyes pop out

 • The shaft winds a nylon line that pulls the tongue lever: the tongue snaps down

 • A fifth elastic band brings the tongue back when you reload

 📦 WHAT'S INCLUDED

 • 24 STL parts, exported in assembly position, named in English

 • Illustrated assembly guide (PDF, English and Italian): 15 steps, parts list, screws drawn at 1:1 scale, troubleshooting

 📏 SIZE

 • About 228 × 229 × 212 mm assembled (fits a 256 × 256 mm bed)

 🔩 HARDWARE (not printed)

 • Socket head screws: 4 × M3×12, 3 × M3×16, 2 × M3×6

 • 4 × Ø2×6 self-tapping screws (or glued 1.75 mm filament pins)

 • 1 × Ø3×6 self-tapping screw, wide head

 • 0.35 mm fishing line (at least 25 cm), round elastic cord, CA glue

 • 2.5 mm hex key, small Phillips and flat screwdrivers, small file

 🖨️ PRINTING

 • Supports: there are many and they are, unfortunately, tedious to remove. The shape of the model did not allow simpler solutions, so be patient and use the right tools (tweezers, hobby knife, file),

especially in the seats of the T racks. Clean every seat well before assembly.

 🛠️ ASSEMBLY TIPS

 • Follow the PDF guide step by step

 • The inner ceiling must be fitted AND glued

 • Test the T rack mechanism by hand before screwing everything together: it must slide smoothly. If it drags, lightly file the sides of the T racks. Often a few quick strokes are enough: the parts wear

 themselves in

 • If the T racks do not go in properly, the shaft is almost certainly fitted the wrong way round: it has a direction. Check it and do not force

 • The retainers over the tongue roller pins must be fitted and glued, with a little glue in the small locating holes

 • Tie the elastic bands at medium tension and test them before the mechanism goes into the pumpkin
