Halloween Castle vs Ember Dragon — Monitor Wars of Halloween 1/4

The Pumpkin Castle is mid-celebration when the Ember Hell Flame Scale Dragon crashes the party. Molten fire, like something dragged up out of hell, comes roaring at the walls. Caught off guard, the pumpkin folk throw their defence array up just in time — and the shield barely holds.

This is Halloween Special #1 in Monitor Wars. It's a complete little scene that comes with the Ember Dragon and its flame, built as a monitor ambient light that wakes with your PC. The second you boot up and the screen lights up, the dragon's breath erupts at the same instant — fire pours from its jaws and slams into the castle, held back (for now) by the shield. Every boot, the same fantastical ambush.

Supports are already set up, so it prints as-is. I've optimised them as much as I can — almost all contact faces are sloped, and both PLA and PETG release cleanly in my testing.

By default the scene mounts on top of your monitor facing left. Want it facing right? Just mirror the whole model.

The lighting is simple. For the dragonfire, any generic 5V 1 .5 mm 360° COB USB LED strip works — in China search it on Pinduoduo for around ¥10; overseas, the same keywords on Etsy，Amazon, Seeed Studio or AliExpress. Feed it in (a dab of oil or WD-40 at the top helps it slide), fix it with a spot of glue, and plug it into the USB port on the back of your monitor or straight into your PC — it lights up with your machine, no switch to press. For the light in the castle, any small LED or tea light you can tuck in will do. No lights on hand? Print it anyway — it works as a scene with a story on its own, and you can always add the light later.
