Love Strike - Secret Heart

I have designed a secret heart-shaped box, perfect for storing your little treasures or surprising someone with a special gift.

The most fascinating feature of this box is its clever locking mechanism: it remains completely locked, and only a "love strike" will open it.

Easy assembly:

To put it together, you'll only need a bit of glue and two 4x1.5 mm magnets, following these steps:

  Base (Bottom):

    Glue the tabs into the slots, making sure they face the narrow side of the heart.

    The unique tab should be placed at the front, aligning with the hole.

  Lid (Top):

    Attach a magnet in its slot and then add the Cylinder piece, which acts as a spacer to adjust the magnetic attraction.

  Locking pin:

    Fix the second magnet to the Pin, ensuring the polarity is correct so it is attracted to the magnet in the lid.

How it works:

  To close the box, simply align both parts and flip it over; the pin will automatically lock it.

  To open it, give it a gentle "love strike", causing the pin to retract into the base and unlock the box.

Assembly tips:

Before permanently gluing the tabs, make sure the magnets attract correctly and that the pin slides freely through the holes. It's a good idea to test the mechanism by assembling the parts temporarily before applying glue.

Montaje sencillo:

Funcionamiento:

  Para cerrar la caja, junta ambas partes y gíralas; el pin se bloqueará automáticamente.

  Para abrirla, dale un pequeño "golpe de amor", haciendo que el pin se retraiga en la base y permita la apertura.

Consejos de ensamblaje:

Antes de pegar las pestañas definitivamente, verifica que los imanes se atraen correctamente y que el pin se desliza libremente por los orificios. Es recomendable hacer pruebas ensamblando las piezas temporalmente antes de fijarlas con pegamento.
